課程概述 |
The+course+is+designed+for+students+who+have+already+acquired+the+basic+skills+%0D%0Ain+reading+and+writing+English%2C+and+who+would+like+to+improve+these+skills+so+%0D%0Aas+to+be+able+to+read+essays+and+books+in+English+on+a+broad+range+of+%0D%0Asubjects%2C+and+make+comments+on+the+writings+they+are+dealing+with. |
課程目標 |
The+selections+of+readings+to+be+covered+on+the+syllabus+are+expected+to+help+%0D%0Athe+class+expand+the+volume+of+vocabulary+on+subjects+which+engage+the+%0D%0Aattention+of+average+students+at+the+graduate+level.+The+readings+are+also+%0D%0Achosen+as+models+of+fluency+and+eloquence.+This+means+that+vocabulary%2C+grammar+%0D%0Aand+style+are+acquisition+targets+of+the+class.++ |
課程要求 |
Students+of+the+class+are+expected+to+do+before-class+preparations+and+all+the+%0D%0Aassignments+given+after+every+class.+There+will+be+writing+tests+for+the+mid-%0D%0Aterm+and+the+final.+Also+there+will+be+short+writing+exercises+to+be+done+at+%0D%0Ahome.+As+the+reading+materials+will+either+be+uploaded+to+the+class+webpage+or+%0D%0Adistributed+to+the+individual+e-mail+box%2C+it+is+expected+that+all+students+%0D%0Ahave+proper+computing+equipments+and+essential+operating+skills+to+get+the+%0D%0Aclass+work+going.+The+class+are+also+expected+to+keep+close+attention+to+the%0D%0Aannouncements+on+the+bulletinboard+to+be+well+informed+of+what-to-dos+and+how-%0D%0Ato-dos+for+the+course.+ |
